Multiple Positions Available:

Review spend data and market trends for key indirect spend categories. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to align on sourcing priorities and requirements. Conduct market research and prepare RFP documents for upcoming sourcing projects. Manage the RFP process, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial deal terms and contracts, and create award recommendations. Contribute to the development of category management plans. Provide procurement analytics and insights to support data driven decision making. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in strategic sourcing. Domestic travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

Basic Qualifications

A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics or a related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation in procurement practices. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics or a related field followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in procurement practices.
Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s):
1. Managing strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives for indirect spend categories while supporting data-driven supplier selection, contract negotiations, and category management strategy development.
2. Lead complex strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect spend categories to support business operations.
3. Analyze spend data and market trends using MS office suite, Power BI, Python, other analytical tools to identify sourcing opportunities and support data-driven procurements decisions.
4. Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFP/RFX development, reverse auction execution, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations with suppliers.
5. Conduct market research and benchmarking analyses to identify qualified suppliers and evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and service levels.
6. Develop and implement category management strategies that balance business requirements, operational efficiency, and cost optimization while assessing supplier risks related to financial stability, compliance, and operational dependencies.
7. Communicate sourcing insights, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to key business stakeholders.

The pay range for this position in Arlington, VA is $118664 - $147900 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
