Join the Retail & Consumer Goods (RCG) Organization as a Senior Solution Area Specialist – AI, where you will help customers harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to transform business operations, accelerate innovation, and achieve strategic business outcomes. As a senior sales leader and trusted advisor, you will engage with executive stakeholders, business decision-makers, and technology leaders to identify opportunities, shape AI strategies, and drive adoption of Microsoft's AI and cloud solutions.
In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in AI technologies, cloud platforms, and industry trends to identify business opportunities, uncover market gaps, and align Microsoft solutions with customer priorities. You will lead strategic conversations with high-value customers, helping them envision and implement AI-powered transformation initiatives that create measurable business impact. By utilizing market intelligence, predictive analytics, and customer insights, you will anticipate emerging needs and position Microsoft as a trusted partner in their AI journey.
You will collaborate across sales, solution engineering, customer success, partner, and engineering teams to develop comprehensive AI transformation strategies that drive customer value and business growth. As a key leader within the account team, you will guide complex sales engagements, influence executive decision-making, and help customers navigate opportunities related to AI innovation, data modernization, security, and cloud adoption.
Success in this role requires strong executive presence, strategic selling expertise, business acumen, and a passion for helping organizations unlock the full potential of AI. The ideal candidate has experience driving complex enterprise sales cycles, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and translating business challenges into innovative AI-powered solutions.
By combining industry knowledge, customer insights, and Microsoft's cutting-edge AI portfolio, you will play a critical role in accelerating AI adoption across the Retail & Consumer Goods industry while driving sustainable growth, innovation, and long-term customer success.

Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
