Job Description

Further driving EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) adoption will be an immensely challenging and transformative global undertaking. As a Product Manager of the Visa Secure Global Product Management team, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of new product features and initiatives to meet the needs of our customers, both internally and client-facing.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Visa, including engineering and business stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmap.  Your deep technical expertise and strong business acumen will enable you to bridge the gap between technology and business objectives, ensuring the creation of exceptional products that meet customer needs and achieve company goals.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop subject matter expertise on EMV 3DS specifications and Visa Secure programs and features
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (global/regional product teams, client services, core product teams) to define and refine the product enhancements and roadmap
  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring the product is built to scale, meets performance standards, and complies with industry’s best practices
  • Drive the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch. Define project milestones, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
  • Develop documentation of product enhancements to ensure that requirements have the supporting details for solid product development execution.
  • Identify and prioritize features and functionality based on customer and market insights, business objectives, and technical requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, promoting best practices, ensuring architectural integrity, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Provide technical support and consultation to issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and 3-D Secure vendors
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of product performance, and identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional team leaders across the company

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience
with a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems/Business required or equivalent
technical experience
• Ideally, MS/MBA or technical certifications
• Must have a working knowledge of payment systems
• Must have the ability and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, demonstrating understanding of data and product
performance
• Extensive cross-functional team experience with demonstrated results required
• Knowledge of EMV(Europay Mastercard Visa) specifications, specifically- EMV 3DS, and
background 3DS 1.0

Preferred Qualifications
• 7 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 5 or more relevant years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience
with a PhD
• Understanding of payment processing and VisaNet/payment ecosystem a plus
• Understanding of Digital Identity platforms and constructs and emerging biometrics capabilities



Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $161,400.00 to $ 258,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
