Job Description
Job Summary
The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. This role performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance, gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. The Financial Analyst also conducts economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental requirements.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for planning and control.
- Perform technical analysis to assess current and future financial performance.
- Gather, analyze, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, and operating forecasts.
- Conduct economic research and studies related to rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investment opportunities, and performance.
- Analyze the impact of governmental requirements on financial operations.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
- Experience in financial planning, analysis, or control functions.
- Experience in conducting technical financial analysis.
- Experience in preparing and summarizing financial recommendations.
- Experience in economic research and studies.
- Experience in interpreting governmental requirements for financial operations.
- Experience in working with financial concepts and models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Experience in acquisition activity analysis.
- Experience in investment performance evaluation.
- Experience in working with rates of return and depreciation models.
- Experience in preparing operating forecasts and trended future requirements.
