Job Description

The Senior Manager, Visa Direct Solutioning and Client Onboarding will play a critical role in accelerating Visa Direct adoption across LAC by supporting client solution design and onboarding for priority use cases across card, account, wallet, and B2B Connect endpoints. This role will partner closely with Specialized Sales, Solutioning, Ecosystem Readiness, Client Services, Product, Technology, Risk, and local market teams to translate commercial opportunities into executable implementation plans, ensuring clients are technically, operationally, and commercially ready to launch and scale Visa Direct programs using the Onboarding@Scale target-state methodology.

The scope includes supporting the end-to-end onboarding path from solution validation through production launch, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, identifying technical and operational requirements, managing dependencies and risks, and providing disciplined project governance and executive-ready reporting. The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of payments processing, Visa Direct capabilities, client implementation practices, solution architecture considerations, and market readiness requirements, combined with executive communication skills, strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to drive progress in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Support client onboarding and implementation planning for Visa Direct opportunities across LAC, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, dependencies, launch criteria, and path-to-scale plans are defined from solutioning through go-live.
  • Partner with Specialized Sales and Solutioning leads to assess client use cases, define the appropriate Visa Direct solution design, validate endpoint readiness, and support opportunities as they move from prospecting to closed-won, implementation, launch, and scale.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable technical, operational, and market-readiness workplans, including required product capabilities, processing flows, reporting needs, controls, testing, certification, and production support considerations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional implementation workstreams with Client Services, Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and local market teams to remove blockers and maintain alignment against committed launch timelines.
  • Manage end-to-end deployment of key regional enablers, including acquirers, processors, fintechs, merchants, and other ecosystem partners, to strengthen Visa Direct readiness and enable market-level scalability.
  • Identify infrastructure, technical development, and operational process gaps required to support Visa Direct use cases in priority markets, and drive resolution plans with accountable stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent onboarding governance framework, including implementation playbooks, project plans, risk and dependency tracking, status reporting, issue escalation, and launch-readiness checkpoints.
  • Establish a consistent project management practice for the end-to-end client onboarding journey and support the roll out of these best practices within local teams
  • Serve as a Visa Direct subject matter expert for clients and internal teams, providing guidance on solution options, implementation sequencing, processing considerations, operational controls, and post-launch support needs.
  • Develop regional views of active onboarding pipelines, deployment status, risks, blockers, and decisions required, and provide concise, executive-ready updates to senior management and regional leadership forums.
  • Capture feedback from clients, markets, and functional partners to strengthen Visa Direct onboarding practices, improve repeatability, and inform product, process, and enablement enhancements.
  • Support internal enablement by contributing to training, implementation guidance, and regional knowledge-sharing that improves stakeholder understanding of Visa Direct capabilities, onboarding requirements, and launch best practices.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
