Project Role Description : Provide L1–L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and applications in production and development environments, both remotely and onsite, following defined operating models and processes. Act as the primary interface with users/clients to accurately diagnose issues and deliver effective resolutions across infrastructure, operating systems, networks, and application platforms, ensuring service stability and quality support.

Summary:
As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering first and second level technical assistance for infrastructure, systems, and applications across both production and development settings. This role requires managing support activities remotely and onsite, adhering to established operational procedures. The practitioner serves as the main point of contact for users and clients, carefully diagnosing technical issues and providing timely, effective solutions. Ensuring the stability of services and maintaining high-quality support throughout the day are key aspects of this position, which demands a proactive and responsive approach to infrastructure challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for Linux RHEL/SUSE servers across Azure, AWS, and VMware platforms, including administration, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Configure and support high-availability clusters, disaster recovery, backup, replication, and business continuity solutions across cloud and VMware environments.
Administer Azure infrastructure including IaaS, PaaS, ARM, Azure Site Recovery, networking, storage, security, and platform operations.
Administer AWS and VMware infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, monitoring, security, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, clusters, virtual machines, templates, snapshots, datastores, vMotion, DRS, HA, and lifecycle management.
Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, Python, and CloudFormation to improve provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and operational efficiency.
Manage the cloud and virtualization infrastructure lifecycle, including provisioning, migration, resizing, optimization, governance, compliance, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Monitor infrastructure health, availability, capacity, and utilization troubleshoot Linux, VMware, cloud, storage, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, and connectivity issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Manage Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request processes in line with ITIL practices, SLA/KPI requirements, and operational governance.
Support cloud migration and transformation initiatives across on-premises, Azure, AWS, VMware, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments while maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, reports, knowledge articles, and work instructions.


Professional & Technical Skills:
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) / Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator
VMware VCP or equivalent VMware certification
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) / Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
Strong hands-on Linux administration experience including RHEL/SUSE installation, configuration, troubleshooting, kernel debugging, boot issue resolution, log analysis, performance tuning, storage administration, LVM, filesystems, RAID, and patch management.
Strong experience with Linux high-availability clusters, Pacemaker, Corosync, failover concepts, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Experience with enterprise Linux services including Samba, CIFS, LDAP, PAM, SSSD, Postfix, authentication services, SSL/TLS certificates, and repository management using Red Hat Satellite or SUSE Manager.
Hands-on experience with Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, ARM, Azure Site Recovery, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and platform administration.
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EBS, VPC, Security Groups, S3, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, KMS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Global Accelerator, and Direct Connect.
Strong VMware administration experience with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vMotion, Storage vMotion, DRS, HA, vSAN, virtual networking, VM lifecycle management, performance troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Bash scripting, CloudFormation, configuration management, automation frameworks, and infrastructure provisioning PowerShell or Python is an added advantage.
Experience with Docker, EKS, ECS, ECR, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, hybrid cloud, multi-cloud infrastructure, and SAP HANA support is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of IAM, access controls, encryption, compliance, governance, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VLANs, firewalls, load balancing, VPN, and cloud networking


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux Operations.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
