As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while continuously monitoring and analyzing system behavior to prevent potential disruptions. The position demands adaptability and a keen eye for detail to support complex environments effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on support priorities and system updates.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Backup and Recovery Systems.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Commvault Backup Administration.
- Strong knowledge of data backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to diagnose issues.
- Experience with automation tools to optimize backup and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based backup solutions and integration techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Backup and Recovery Systems.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
