Sr. Mgr, Sec. Indust. Spec., Amazon Leo Security Assurance

Amazon Leo seeks to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3,000 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of compliance specialists, focusing on understanding, evaluating, and driving compliance with international regulatory requirements. This will include programs like EU CRA and NIS2. The successful candidate will have experience deciphering customer needs, formulating compliance plans and roadmaps, prioritizing resources across multiple domains, and working with customers to solve complex problems. They also will have experience meeting with regulators and explaining security and compliance control implementation.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage global regulatory and compliance requirements, focusing on EU requirements.
* Work closely with the business to understand and scope compliance needs, and develop roadmaps and prioritization for the compliance program.
* Implement and maintain compliance programs, and manage regulator and auditor requests.
* Create metrics for management reporting
* Develop scaling mechanisms to meet increasing customer demands, using automation and AI/ML tools.

You will act as a compliance leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to help create simple solutions to meet your program goals. You can make strategic decisions to quickly handle emerging issues while working towards long term solutions.

The candidate must possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable working autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment. The position requires an individual with strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and able to prioritize effectively.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders and advising cross-functional teams
- 10+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
- Experience building and scaling compliance/assurance functions, integrating teams, and driving operational excellence across multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with GRC platforms, audit management tools, and automation of evidence collection at scale
- Experience leading assurance/audit teams that span both information security and privacy — demonstrating cross-domain operational leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
