This is an individual contributor role and is a key member of the analytics and insights team within the locale. You will work extensively with ad sales, product and retail teams to help advertisers optimize and grow their investments on Amazon. This is not a backend role. You will actively participate in customer meetings, as the subject matter expert on insights & measurement, and leverage Amazon’s rich array of insights and measurement solutions to deliver media strategies.
Key job responsibilities
Establish and advance relationships with senior marketing decision makers (e.g. senior director, c-level) by positioning yourself as go-to expert in at least one advanced analytical area of advertising.
Leverage Amazon's proprietary data, third-party research, and ad measurement solutions to generate actionable insights
Develop expertise in Amazon’s proprietary metrics, working to constantly evolve how we analyze and communicate data-driven insights to our advertisers
Advocate for data-driven decision-making and guide advertisers to implement recommended solutions
Write internal documents with strategic recommendations that influence the direction of our products or working mechanism with internal stakeholders
Actively scale your analyses to other categories or locales through AI native solutions
Mentor and grow junior team members on functional competencies within your domain
A day in the life
No two days at Amazon are the same. You will have the flexibility to work with your stakeholders and define a book of business that will maximize your impact on the customers. At any given day, you might find yourself running an intricate analysis to influence a key advertiser decision, presenting at a sales-led event or trying to influence our product/engineering team to pilot a new measurement solution.
About the team
The Analytics & Insights Team (A&I) sits within Amazon Ads. We’re a sales enablement group, responsible for developing actionable and innovative insights, which will help our sales team prove the value of Amazon Ads to our advertisers and partners.
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
