Location: New York, NY

Multiple Positions Available:

1) Understand the various AWS Services, its economics and how it
impacts the profitability of a customer.
2) Actively provide our sales team with financial acumen and insights
to positively influence private pricing deals.
3) Drive financial controllership over private pricing deals by
enforcing Amazon’s Spending & Transaction Policy.
4) Evaluate and refine financial models that calculate customer
profitability. Effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences.
5) Own and oversee a specific process from a deals desk finance
perspective.
6) Provide leadership, guidance and implementation to drive process
improvement. Possess passion and demonstrated skills for
developing relationships, processes and continuous improvement.
7) Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly
changing environment

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $117686 - $128800)

Basic Qualifications

Must have at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in
Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field and 1 year of experience in the
job offered or related occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Accounting, Business, or related field and 1 year of experience in the
job offered or related occupation, the
employer will accept 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related
occupation.
Experience must include at least 1 year in each of the following:
1) Financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
2) Creating process improvements with automation and analysis
experience
3) Experience in writing and running SQL queries to extract data from
internal tools
4) Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel and
providing recommendations based on results to senior management for
strategic decision-making.
5)Strong judgment to understand different perspectives, manage conflicts
and have backbone to drive progress and alignment, while fostering an
environment of open dialogue and ability to work and communicate across all
levels of the organization.

The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD $117686 - $128800 (yr). Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
