DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Enablement Data Governance Lead is responsible for the technical ownership, maintenance and continuous enhancement of the governance infrastructure supporting the GBS Digital Enablement organization.

The role ensures that the tools, workflows, data structures and reporting solutions used to manage the Digital Enablement portfolio are reliable, scalable, well governed and provide accurate information for operational and strategic decision-making.

This position combines strong technical capabilities in Power BI, data management, workflow automation and databases with an understanding of Global Business Services (GBS) operations. The successful candidate will work across Digital Enablement, GBS process organizations, operations teams and Corporate IT to ensure that Digital Enablement governance solutions continue to meet evolving business needs.

The role will act as the technical owner and subject matter expert for the Digital Enablement governance ecosystem.


REQUIREMENTS:

Technical

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modelling, Power Query, DAX and dashboard development
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures and data management principles
  • Experience working with SQL and integrating multiple data sources
  • Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power Automate workflows
  • Experience with workflow, low-code or business process automation solutions
  • Experience designing and maintaining reporting and governance solutions
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data governance and reporting controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data, workflow and integration issues
  • Experience with Smartsheet or comparable workflow / portfolio management platforms is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem is desirable

Business & Functional

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Global Business Services / Shared Services operating models
  • Familiarity with major GBS process areas such as:
    • Order to Cash (OTC)
    • Procure to Pay (PTP)
    • Record to Report (RTR)
    • Customer Care
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical and data requirements
  • Experience supporting governance, portfolio management, productivity, continuous improvement or transformation functions is an advantage
