About the role
As a Platform Customer Engineer (CE), you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to the customers. You will serve as the customer's primary technical partner and trusted advisor, engaging in technical-led conversations to understand their business challenges. You will troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks, engage in proofs of concepts and demos, and use your expertise to architect cross-pillar cloud solutions that solve these business challenges. Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry.
What you'll do
• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participate in planning and supporting targeted sales motions.
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform across the portfolio through complex demos, pilots and in-depth workshops.
• Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers, continue to lead the technical engagement in the solution phase.
• Maintain awareness of the holistic enterprise architecture progress, provide support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Work directly with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
