Role Summary
The Medical Science Liaison will join the General Medicines Medical team as a field-based extension of the medical function across Dubai. Main responsibilities:
- Engage proactively and reactively with healthcare professionals and institutions across Dubai, exchanging medical and scientific information for the therapeutic area during one-to-one interactions and group settings.
- Organize and engage KOLs and HCPs during local group scientific meetings (hospital staff meetings, webinars, etc.) according to the Stakeholder Engagement plan, aligned with the Country Medical plan.
- Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions through scientific engagement and exchange in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
- Communicate the clinical value of therapeutic area products to population-health and formulary decision-makers as applicable.
- Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced, and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests, supporting investigators in IIR submissions and management of local advisory boards.
- Develop and execute individual stakeholder engagement plans, aligned with the Medical Plan, generating high-value, actionable insights and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Medical Advisors, RWE, HEVA, Pharmacovigilance, CSU, and MedInfo, while maintaining full compliance with company, industry, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to evidence-generation activities, supporting both internal evidence-generation projects and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISs).
- Maintain accurate records of customer engagement through CRM entries and generate insights reports.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Gastroenterology or Rhinology experience is preferred.
- Experience in stakeholder strategy, planning, and engagement.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
- Strong scientific exchange capabilities with solid disease/therapeutic area knowledge.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and multiple channels/formats for scientific engagement to maximize stakeholder satisfaction and impact.
