Typical Accountabilities:
• Maintains the processes and technology used to monitor and manage external alliances and relationships between AstraZeneca and other academic and commercial organisations

• Acts as a source of knowledge in area of expertise, addressing external alliance issues and defining and communicating initiatives to facilitate future external collaboration

• Accountable for coordinating information sharing between AstraZeneca and its external partners

• Supports a number of collaborative projects, ensuring that they are compliant with AstraZeneca regulations, delivered according to time, cost and scope set and aligned with AstraZeneca’s overall business strategy

• Tracks progress of a portfolio of collaborative projects, ensuring alliances are maintained and best practices are employed and shared

• Identifies risks associated with external collaboration and discusses these with relevant team members

• Helps develop risk mitigation programs and policies for external alliance projects

• Keeps own knowledge of best practices on external alliance and relationships current

• May have some budgetary responsibility
