Overview

The Western Europe (WE) Customer Solutions Centre (CSC) is a structure which enables Mastercard to develop solutions & bundles for prioritised Customer segments: Financial Institutions, Digital Partners, Retail & Commerce and Public Sector. It is the housing for all Mastercard capabilities and it aims to drive Mastercard growth and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable needs-based solutions to new and existing Customers by tapping into Mastercard’s extensive toolbox of products and services offerings.

There are three main business functions within the WE CSC: Product Sales Specialists, Customer Solutions Architects and Customer Technical Architects. Product Sales Specialists are responsible for driving the product commercialization activities in their respective markets. Customer Solutions Architects are responsible for Customer solutioning and combining products into holistic customer propositions, while Customer Technical Architects are providing technical pre-sales support for complex projects.

As Manager, Product Excellence & Innovation, you will be responsible to support the different CSC functions by (i) defining, tracking and monitoring the performance of our existing strategic priorities in Western Europe, (ii) leading the innovation and new product go to market management process in the division and (iii) managing some strategic projects across the division. In this role you will work closely with the CSC Lead, the Products Sales Specialists, the Country Product Leads / Customer Solution Architects and the regional Product teams (including the Studio team) to streamline to go-to-market of our existing strategic product priorities and to drive innovation with the CSC.

Role

As a Product Excellence & Innovation Manager within the Western Europe CSC team, you will be the ‘go to’ product expert, and in turn responsible for:
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve overall product lifecycle processes
• Regularly interact with regional product team to develop and maintain an expert level understanding of the product innovation process
• Provide specialist support to the sales teams in pre and after sale partner meetings on new innovation projects (in partnership with Regional Product team)
• Display judgment to know when to escalate issues and liaise with cross-functional teams for resolution
• Support and participate in post-launch reviews and ensure feedback is incorporated into enhancements
• Become a subject matter expert in Mastercard Innovation Management process for the Division including the creating of an innovation project portfolio for the Division
• Drive and manage some strategic projects for the Division


Required Skills

• Payment Industry experience, product management experience would be desirable
• High attention to detail, adaptable, executes with a sense of urgency and strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong execution skills, able to get things done through collaboration with partners across the region
• Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills with experience interfacing with customers
• Languages: French and English are a must. Additional languages are valuable bonuses
• Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Keen understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends and go-to-market considerations
• Ability to travel if required
