Job Description

The Implementation Analyst supports the successful delivery of client and partner implementations by executing defined activities across the implementation lifecycle, under the guidance of Implementation Consultants and Managers.

This role is designed for professionals who already understand the payments / fintech ecosystem and are looking to accelerate their growth toward a managerial career path. The position combines hands-on execution, exposure to technical and business discussions, and increasing responsibility in client-facing delivery, with a clear progression toward leadership roles.

The Implementation Analyst works closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to support milestones such as requirements gathering, configuration, testing, certification, and go-live readiness, while developing the skills required to eventually coordinate delivery streams and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation Delivery & Execution

  • Support implementation activities across the full client delivery lifecycle, from kickoff through go-live and handover.
  • Execute well-defined tasks within implementation plans, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
  • Support requirements gathering by documenting business, operational, and technical inputs from clients and internal teams.
  • Assist with platform configuration, testing cycles, certifications, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Track assigned actions, dependencies, and open issues, proactively escalate risks or blockers to Consultants or Managers.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Client Services, Risk) to support implementation execution.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and working sessions, gradually increasing ownership of discussions over time.
  • Prepare structured status updates, action trackers, and summaries for Consultants and Managers.

Execution Excellence & Quality

  • Ensure implementation deliverables meet defined quality, documentation, and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, and delivery artifacts to ensure transparency and auditability.
  • Follow established implementation frameworks, templates, and best practices.

Growth, Ownership & Continuous Improvement

  • Build strong functional knowledge of the payments ecosystem (issuers, acquirers, processors, schemes/networks).
  • Develop technical understanding of platform capabilities, APIs, integration flows, and regional requirements.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to implementation processes, templates, and tooling.
  • Gradually take ownership of small delivery streams or work packages, preparing for future people and delivery management responsibilities.
