We are looking for a skilled Lead Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and asynchronous messaging (RabbitMQ). The ideal candidate will design and build scalable microservices, integrate messaging patterns for event-driven systems, and deliver high-quality production-ready code.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Core Java (8/11/17).

  • Build RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

  • Implement messaging and event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ (queues, exchanges, routing keys, DLQs).

  • Integrate with relational and/or NoSQL databases and write optimized queries.

  • Apply best practices: SOLID, design patterns, clean code, unit testing, code reviews.

  • Build resilient services using patterns such as retry, timeout, circuit breaker, idempotency, and graceful error handling.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) across the SDLC.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments with root-cause analysis.

 Mandatory Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Streams, Concurrency basics).

  • Hands-on experience with Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.

  • Microservices ecosystem: Spring Cloud, Config Server, Gateway, Eureka/Consul (optional)

  • Experience building REST APIs (request validation, pagination, error handling, versioning).

  • Experience with RabbitMQ

  • Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle) and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).

  • Knowledge of Kafka

  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

 Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Security: Spring Security, OAuth2/JWT (optional)

  • Observability: logging, tracing, metrics (ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

  • CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins/GitHub.
