Job Title

Senior QA Functional Tester (Hands‑On) – Quality Assurance (Senior Associate)

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid – 4 days in office)

Role Summary

State Street Investment Management is seeking a Senior QA functional tester in Capital markets domain for a hands‑on role.  

The expectation from the chosen candidate will be to personally design, script, execute, analyze, and report functional & regression testing on trading & compliance platforms, including applications migrating to or running on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

QA Functional tester (Primary - Hands On)

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Investment management/Capital markets domain as functional tester 
  • Proficient in Capital markets domain, possess hands-on experience in ION Latent Zero products or Charles river development CRD. Good experience in Trading & Compliance, Trade life cycle for different assets classes Equity, FX, Futures & Fixed Income.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, prepare test plan, create test scenarios, test cases, test execution for functional & regression testing  
  • Collaborate with developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Test Management using JIRA/ XRAY. Track, analyze, and report test results; manage defects using tools like JIRA
  • Support shift‑left testing and overall quality maturity
  • Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (GitHub).

Reporting & CI/CD Enablement

  • Produce clear, concise, executive‑ready test execution reports with results, risks, and recommendations

Automation (Secondary)

  • Good to have automation testing experience using TOSCA, Playwright

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of strong, hands‑on experience in Capital markets
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently as Individual contributor as well as team player
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools

Preferred

  • Financial Services / Investment Management domain exposure
  • Experience with thick‑client applications and complex web app
