Position Summary:
This is an outstanding chance for a committed and ambitious professional to join our project management team at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Allschwil. The Senior Project Manager, Client Services Distribution leads all aspects of leadership and is responsible for the actions of project managers and project support associates. You will work closely to guarantee the timely and flawless delivery of clinical supplies projects and successfully implement processes to improve efficiency. While you will not coordinate day-to-day project activities, you will lead all aspects of your team's client portfolio, ensuring outstanding client happiness and consistent business delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, mentor, and conduct yearly evaluations for Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and Project Support Associates. Put into effect Performance Improvement Plans when needed.
- Establish goals for direct reports in alignment with company initiatives and vision.
- Direct the selection of projects and clients managed by the project management team, ensuring accurate and consistent delivery of customer projects.
- Provide assistance for customer issues advanced by Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to improve overall efficiency and productivity.
- Address all personnel issues, timecard maintenance, and job descriptions for support associates.
- Participate in sales and marketing activities, including customer kickoffs, teleconferences, customer visits, audits, estimates, and quotations.
- Initiate and maintain continuous communication with appropriate departments.
- Provide regular training, including system and SOP training.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Accredited degree, preferably in a health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting project management teams.
- Previous work experience in the Healthcare field required.
- 2 years of management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent relationship building.
- Proven experience managing teams and working with customers in dynamic environments.
- In-depth understanding of clinical trials and business services.
- Proficient in using company SOPs and Quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong customer management skills; proactive in anticipating and responding to client needs.
- Experience with both detailed execution and strategic orientation.
