This leadership role assists the Global Process Owner in finance migration, process standardization, digital transformation, process improvement and other change programs. Responsibilities include implementing AI, digital technologies and automation to enhance Record to Report processes in terms of efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical skills in digital tools and expertise in running change activities. They will work closely with various collaborators both within and outside of Global Business Services, ensuring a coordinated strategy to achieve Workstream goals. The job holder will play a key role in the Workstream’s business expansion opportunities under the Global Operating Model by leading finance migration activities and tracking critical deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of end-to-end accounting processes to shared services, driving end-to-end efficient organization and process design
- Support the implementation of the AI and enabling technology roadmap and solutions.
- Ensure efficient use of new and existing systems, identifying enabling technology requirements and future improvements
- Engage with business and technology partners to drive standardization and optimization
- Support the identification of new innovation opportunities
- Coordinate with globally distributed teams to achieve desired outcomes
- Ensure that projects are fully engaged with and resourced across the workstream and with leadership
- Influence key partners to achieve results on time and within plan, developing important relationships within the company to complete assigned projects
- Collaborate with collaborators and sponsors on reporting and meeting cadences – including leadership reports & presentations
- Resolve complex issues and lead critical path processes as it relates to project delivery
- Identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and decisions – take ownership of addressing critical issues and work towards finding mitigation strategies
- Ad-hoc project support in GPO organization
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably business related.
- Project Management/Sigma/Kaizen certification desirable
- Over 5 years managing global programs, projects in process improvements, finance transitions, systems implementation, with 3-5 years in Shared Service structure.
- Corporate experience is preferred.

- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Strong project management skills and capabilities (planning tools, defining deliverables, and baseline development)
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing sophisticated, multidimensional projects
- Ability to work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams
- Capable of balancing multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of following through on commitments
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Great business partner, able to work effectively with colleagues
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive information in line with confidentiality expectations
- Focuses on the big picture and can drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understands how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Finance or other rows
- Ability to engage with, provide guidance to, and quickly affect change across other teams/departments; ability to maintain collective motivation throughout the project
- Leadership, negotiation, interpersonal and planning skills needed to support change and engage with GBS Senior Management, division management, and business unit partners
