DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to global science and healthcare. As a Customer Data Engineer, you'll help advance our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer through strategic marketing initiatives. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. This role offers opportunities to develop your marketing career while contributing to scientific advances.
Key responsibilities include managing marketing campaigns, analyzing performance data, coordinating with internal/external partners, ensuring brand consistency, and optimizing marketing strategies across channels including digital, social, email, and events. You'll use marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms to drive results while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical abilities with creative marketing skills and excellent project management capabilities. You'll succeed in our supportive, collaborative environment where you can contribute while developing your expertise across multiple marketing disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in life sciences or healthcare
• Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
• Professional marketing certifications valuable
• Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing channels (email, social, search, display)
• Strong proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager)
• Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI, Adobe Analytics)
• Excellent project management capabilities managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Detail-oriented with focus on achieving objectives
• Ability to translate complex technical information into compelling marketing messages
• Travel may be required (10-15%)
• Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
