Position Summary

Join our Finance team as an Operations Cost Analyst and contribute to financial excellence across our manufacturing operations. In this position, you'll collaborate with Operations teams to optimize costs, analyze variances, and ensure accurate standard costing across our manufacturing facilities. You'll leverage your expertise to support critical financial processes, from monthly closes to annual cost rolls, while helping advance continuous improvement initiatives that impact our bottom line. • Support month-end close responsibilities including journal entries, reconciliations, and material variance analysis.

• Own and analyze daily and weekly financial and operational metrics and KPIs; support leadership decision making through analyses.

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports detailing performance of key business metrics and underlying business drivers causing variances to expected results.

• Assist with development and presentation of monthly business reviews.

• Routine Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance.

• Support annual standard cost roll and maintenance of system costs, performance of production routing analysis.

• Support Capex project management and analysis.

•  Actively participate in and lead initiatives to improve execution and factory operational performance.

•  Provide comprehensive finance support to enable delivery of productivity commitments (PPI).

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience, skills & abilities:

• High school diploma and/or GED plus 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or finance, or comparable relevant experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or similar field

• Strong proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP or equivalent)

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools

• Demonstrated expertise in standard cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory management

• Experience with monthly/quarterly close processes and journal entries

• Ability to perform cost modeling and analysis for business cases, NPIs, and make-vs-buy decisions

• Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing analysis

• Ability to build effective partnerships across operations, planning, procurement, and finance teams

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements

• Experience supporting internal and external audits

• Ability to manage multiple assignments, exercise good judgement, and prioritize projects and time effectively.
