DESCRIPTION
Senior Manager-Sales, Microarray and Reproductive health is responsible for leading commercial strategy for Microarray and Reproductive health in APJ. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the markets we compete in, as well as a strong mix of strategic thinking, cross-functional team leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our team to achieve strategic objectives and annual goals including revenue, profitability and customer initiatives by setting directions and tactical advices to the team for strategic alignment and achieving goals.
- Standardize sales processes and develop strategies and employ tactics to improve business outreach, win over competition and overall growth in region
- Partner with Regional and Global teams in developing and implementing a strategy that leads to increased customer value creation and market share gain.
- Maintain strong alignment with leadership and organization goals with global and APJ leadership team.
- Drive collaboration with, other commercial and functional teams in a highly matrixed structure (Sales and Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers, Life Sciences Group APJ Leadership Team) to translate global strategy into execution across the region.
- Proactively find opportunities and facilitate an innovative culture of continuous process improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life science and/or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience with at least 6 years of sales team leadership experience and a proven track record for leading successful teams.
- Understanding of market, work experience in Reproductive health/Genotyping/Biobanking/next gen sequencing will be desirable
- Knowledge of clinical diagnostics market segments, sales processes and industry specific products and market dynamics.
- Experience leading sales teams; and highly matrixed organization structure
- Excellent relationship building skills internal and external
- Willing to travel 50-60% of the time domestic or international
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with background in developing and summarizing complex information with a high comfort level presenting to senior management.
