Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced HPLC Service Engineer to provide field service and technical support for HPLC/UHPLC systems. The role will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, qualification support, and ensuring high instrument uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair HPLC/UHPLC systems at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance and systematic troubleshooting of instrument hardware and performance issues.
- Diagnose problems related to pumps, autosamplers, injectors, detectors, fluidics, electronics, and system communication.
- Perform instrument performance verification and support IQ/OQ/qualification activities as applicable.
- Respond to customer service calls and ensure timely resolution with minimum instrument downtime.
- Provide customers with technical guidance on instrument operation, routine maintenance, and good HPLC practices.
- Complete service reports and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with technical support, applications, sales, and other internal teams for complex customer requirements.
- Follow applicable quality, EHS, and customer-site compliance requirements.
- Manage assigned territory/service calls effectively and maintain strong customer relationships.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline.
- 3–6 years of hands-on field service experience with HPLC/UHPLC or similar analytical instrumentation.
- Good understanding of HPLC principles, fluidics, electronics, and instrument troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting customers in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO, QC, or analytical laboratories is preferred.
· Working knowledge of chromatography software/CDS and regulated laboratory environments is desirable.
