Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily distribution operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately, safely, and on time while contributing to operational excellence and a positive team environment.

A Day in the Life:
Start your day by reviewing priorities, picking and packing customer orders, verifying product accuracy, and preparing shipments to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.
Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to receive inventory, process shipments, resolve order issues, and support a safe, efficient, and customer-focused distribution operation.
Use warehouse systems and standard operating procedures to manage inventory, complete shipping documentation, maintain 5S standards, and help deliver products that support scientific research and healthcare worldwide.
Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. (***If a Degree or specific Apprenticeship or Technical Certification is required please modify the first sentence and add the specifics here***)
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process customer orders, shipping documentation, and inventory transactions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping systems (SAP or WMS experience preferred), with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is performed in a warehouse/distribution environment with frequent movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, use RF scanners and warehouse systems, and safely handle products while following all safety and quality procedures. Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on business needs may be required.
- Work in a fast-paced distribution environment that requires attention to detail, adherence to GMP and safety standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
