DESCRIPTION:
Join our Finance team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As an Accountant I, you'll handle financial operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global environment. You'll have opportunities to enhance processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to the company's continued growth and success through accurate financial management and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:
• At least three years of experience in a maquiladora plant
• Bachelor's degree in Accountant
• Preferably someone who knows how to use Prosys ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end close processes
• Experience with account reconciliations and journal entry preparation

Strong knowledge in tax: monthly taxes, VAT refund, DIOT, ISN, Informative reports, Tax annual report, IMSS, SAR INFONAVIT, Tax compliance in the payroll. etc.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Experience with financial reporting tools and systems, BlackLine preferred
• System automation and process improvement mindset
• Ability to adapt to new processes
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and professional ethics
