This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on a massive scale while developing your skills in financial modeling, analysis, and planning within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key job responsibilities

-Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness, delivering timely insights to stakeholders
-Develop new reports and analytical tools to manage costs and surface insights in the transportation space using Cognos, internal AI applications, and other finance platforms
-Support financial planning cycles including month-end close, forecasts, and operating plans while implementing controls to enhance financial controllership
-Partner with business operations and finance teams to analyze transportation cost drivers and recommend process improvements that increase productivity and reduce costs

A day in the life
You'll start your day analyzing transportation cost data, identifying trends and anomalies that impact middle mile operations. You'll collaborate with business partners to understand their evolving needs, then design and build dynamic reports using advanced finance tools and AI applications. Throughout the day, you'll investigate cost variances, cross-check data across systems, and prepare insights for stakeholders. You'll also work on automation projects that streamline financial processes, while learning from senior team members who help you grow your expertise in transportation finance.
