The Apps team is seeking a high-energy and ambitious Technical Program Manager to drive program strategy and delivery of the organization's internal AI enablement and optimization initiatives. Description

As a member of our dynamic team, this position requires an individual who understands software development and AI/ML technologies, and who can translate engineering and quality priorities into roadmaps — partnering with Engineering, QA, and stakeholder teams to sequence work and communicate progress across our internal AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drive program strategy and end-to-end delivery of internal AI enablement and optimization initiatives
Translate engineering and quality priorities into roadmaps in partnership with Engineering, QA, and stakeholder teams
Sequence work and communicate progress of internal AI initiatives across the organization
Manage cross-functional relationships and navigate delivery dependencies for engineering teams
Apply Agile software development practices to manage projects through a full lifecycle
Deconstruct complex problems, resolve conflicts, and lead teams to solutions using analytical and critical thinking
Filter and distill meaningful information to the appropriate audiences across the organization
Evangelize AI enablement initiatives and prioritize competing demands across stakeholder groups

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of recent experience in Engineering Project Management driving AI/ML technology projects
1+ years of experience leading AI/ML-adjacent projects and optimization initiatives
Engineering and quality-aware program management background
Strong cross-functional communication, prioritization, and evangelism skills
Demonstrated delivery of technologies and services through a full project lifecycle, with experience managing projects using Agile software development
Proven track record supporting engineering teams, building and managing cross-functional relationships, and navigating delivery dependencies
Versatile problem solver with a strong analytical approach to complex challenges, adept at creative and critical thinking, able to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead teams to solutions
Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to filter and distill meaningful information for the right audience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience
Background solving technical challenges in an application development environment while supporting engineering teams

Pay & Benefits — Cupertino, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,500 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
