Amazon Luxury is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join the Global Elevated Shopping Design team and shape the visual identity of our luxury initiatives. In this role, you'll ensure a cohesive, elevated brand experience across all platforms and device types — desktop, mobile, and beyond.

You will deliver ambitious, data-driven concepts that translate luxury customer needs and constraints into simple, intuitive, customer-focused solutions. You are equally strong at concept and execution — articulating end-to-end experiences and turning vision into high-quality deliverables including user interface designs, interaction models, prototypes, and interactive campaigns.

You balance a passion for inspired, compelling, and elegant design with a highly analytical nature, precise execution, and a drive to build and deliver. You will work under the guidance of a Creative Director and collaborate closely with Art Directors, fellow Designers, Design Technologists, and Programme Managers. You will also communicate with internal partners (Marketing and Brand) and external stakeholders to deliver innovative results from concept development through to final execution.

What We're Looking For:
You operate with a high degree of independence and ownership — including in areas where programme strategy is still being defined. You invent, evolve, improve, and simplify in a manner that scales across multiple teams, feature types, and development methodologies. You are comfortable with ambiguity, adapt your approach to meet the needs of a broad set of partners, and are highly collaborative.

You have an "anything is possible" mindset when faced with hard problems and thrive on uncovering deep customer insights. You're proud of your work and expertise — but flexible and open to cross-functional input, as you want to be part of something impactful.

Key job responsibilities
Design Leadership & Execution:
- Deliver solutions for complex UX problems where strategy, requirements, and customer needs may not yet be defined.
- Design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of luxury services and experiences — from personas and journey maps through to wire-frames and prototypes.
- Set and drive adoption of design patterns, standards, and best practices across teams.
- Craft and validate long-term design strategies that impact product roadmaps and business goals.
- Lead org reviews and critiques; mentor and develop designers within and beyond your team.

Customer & Data Insight:
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to inform CX and business decisions.
- Understand customer needs through research, market analysis, and feedback — resolving root causes and enabling innovation.

Technical Collaboration:
- Influence engineering decisions to enable UX delivery as designed — demonstrating knowledge of tech stack capabilities, constraints, and system implications.
- Articulate short-term vs. long-term trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Present confidently to leaders up to three levels above — across design, marketing, legal, finance, and PR.
- Drive alignment through clear artifacts (specs, flows, wire-frames, prototypes, narratives) and productive cross-functional discussions.

Operational Excellence:
- Create and optimize cross-team mechanisms that improve efficiency, streamline processes, and increase collaboration across design, product, and engineering.
