Join Amazon's Customer Protection and Enforcement team as a Corporate Counsel and help protect our customers from fraud and cybercrime schemes. You'll work at the intersection of law, investigation, and business strategy to develop enforcement approaches that stop bad actors and create safer experiences for our customers and partners worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
- Coordinate and support investigations into fraud schemes, working with internal investigators and external law enforcement to gather evidence and assess legal claims
- Advise business leaders and legal teams on applicable civil and criminal laws related to cybercrime, fraud, and enforcement options
- Develop and implement civil enforcement strategies, including litigation, settlements, and remediation approaches to stop harmful activity
- Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies across multiple countries to facilitate criminal referrals and support prosecutions
- Contribute to long-term strategy development for combating malicious online activity that affects our customers and partners globally

A day in the life
As a Corporate Counsel on our Customer Protection and Enforcement team, you'll engage in dynamic work that combines legal analysis with investigative coordination. Your day might include reviewing evidence from fraud investigations, advising business leaders on the legal implications of enforcement actions, or collaborating with international law enforcement partners on criminal referrals. You'll move between detailed legal research on cybercrime statutes, strategy sessions with our investigations and policy teams, and communications with prosecutors in multiple countries. This role offers variety—one moment you're analyzing fraud patterns, the next you're helping shape our long-term approach to combating emerging threats that target our customers and partners.

About the team
We are a dedicated team within Amazon's legal department committed to protecting our customers, sellers, and business from fraud and cybercrime. Our work spans civil litigation, criminal prosecution support, and policy development across multiple jurisdictions. We collaborate closely with investigators, business leaders, law enforcement agencies, and policymakers to create comprehensive enforcement strategies. Our vision is to build a safer Amazon by staying ahead of evolving threats and working with global partners to hold bad actors accountable. When you join us, you'll be part of a group that values thorough legal analysis, creative problem-solving, and a commitment to protecting the communities we serve.
