Overview

Security. Safety. Governance. Trust.

Artificial intelligence is transforming how organizations build software, empower employees, and engage customers. As AI systems become increasingly autonomous and deeply integrated into enterprise workflows, organizations need new capabilities to ensure these systems are safe, secure, transparent, compliant, and aligned with organizational policies throughout their lifecycle.

The Microsoft Responsible AI team is building the platform that enables enterprises and Microsoft product teams to develop, deploy, govern, and operate trustworthy AI at scale. We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to help define the future of Responsible AI across Microsoft's AI platform.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, security, governance, policy, science and developer experience. You will define product strategy and lead cross-functional execution for platform capabilities that help customers operationalize Responsible AI—from model and agent development and evaluation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous governance.

You will partner closely with engineering, research, security, legal, compliance, and product teams while working directly with enterprise customers to understand emerging AI risks and translate them into scalable product capabilities.

If you're passionate about shaping how the next generation of AI systems are governed responsibly, we'd love to talk with you.

Partner with Microsoft Research, Legal, Security, Responsible AI, Compliance, and Engineering teams to anticipate future technology and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate across Foundry, GitHub, Microsoft Security, and other Microsoft organizations to deliver integrated governance experiences.

Define success metrics and use customer insights and telemetry to continuously improve product adoption and customer value.
