We’re looking for a Sr. Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) focused on Cloud & AI Data to help customers build unified, governed, secure, and AI-ready data estates on Microsoft Azure. In this customer-facing role, you’ll work with customers to design and deliver data platform, analytics, and database solutions that enable production-scale AI and agent scenarios. You’ll lead technical engagements across architecture design, proof of concepts, and production deployments, using repeatable IP, Factory, Unified VAS, and data acceleration programs to move customers from data foundation to scalable, production-grade outcomes.
As part of the Cloud & AI Data team, you’ll help customers grow data platform adoption, improve workload health, resiliency, security, and capacity, and unlock value from Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL, Cosmos DB, Microsoft IQ, and related AI capabilities.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL and the person for this role is expected to be onsite in Huntsville.

Responsibilities
- Engage customer IT and business leaders to understand data estates, AI priorities, governance needs, success measures, and business outcomes; design secure, scalable Cloud & AI Data solutions for unified, governed, AI-ready estates.
- Lead architecture design, create Data & AI platform roadmaps, and drive POCs, pilots, and production milestones across analytics, database, Fabric, Foundry, Microsoft IQ, and agent-enabled scenarios.
- Own technical delivery for dispatched engagements, partnering with CSAMs to ensure Azure consumption and customer success plans are accurate, aligned, and feasible.
- Use and contribute repeatable IP, templates, frameworks, and agents to accelerate deployment, improve consistency, grow Data share, and support Azure consumption outcomes.
- Provide delivery oversight and escalation support for Factory, Unified, and data acceleration engagements across Data & Analytics workloads.
- Lead workload health, resiliency, sovereignty, security, capacity management, and optimization for mission-critical data workloads and production-scale AI and agent use cases.
- Resolve technical blockers and adoption issues and share customer and field feedback with product and engineering teams to improve platform readiness and outcomes.
- Maintain deep expertise in Cloud & AI Data priorities, market trends, competitive insights, and Microsoft’s evolving data, AI, and agent capabilities.
- Maintain advanced proficiency in priority workloads, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB, Microsoft IQ, and related AI/agent scenarios.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by aligning skills to customer and team priorities, contributing to communities, sharing reusable learnings, and mentoring others.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent experience
4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
