The AWS Partner PR & Executive Social Specialist will support the broader AWS Partner PR team to develop, execute, and measure strategic PR and executive social media campaigns. The Partner PR & Executive Social Specialist will work with stakeholders across the AWS organization, including colleagues in PR, executive communications, services, business, and marketing, as well as with external PR and business contacts. The Partner PR & Executive Social Specialist will review and edit third-party press releases, cultivate and execute thought leadership programs, develop and manage executive social media content that amplifies partner narratives and AI innovation, and identify and drive a steady pace of proactive media coverage around the innovation AWS is driving with Systems Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Managed Services Providers (MSPs), startups, and other partners.
The ideal candidate enjoys diving deep into technology and is motivated by a dynamic, highly creative culture where the challenge of breaking new ground and redefining best practices is welcome. The candidate must be comfortable working sensitive issues and communicating with the media on stories that can impact AWS's reputation. The candidate should also have experience crafting executive voice and managing social media presence for senior leaders in a fast-paced technology environment.

• Develop, draft, and manage executive social media content for senior AWS leaders in partnership with the executive communications team
• Collaborate with partner marketing to align social media messaging with broader campaign narratives and partner go-to-market motions
• Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to amplify partner stories, AI innovation, and joint customer success through executive channels
• Coordinate cross-functional content calendars across PR, executive social, and partner marketing to ensure cohesive storytelling
• Flag and escalate high-impact partner social posts to AWS executives for engagement and amplification
• Track and report on executive social media performance metrics, providing insights to optimize content strategy
Key job responsibilities
•Develop and drive proactive media strategy for the AWS partner portfolio and AWS Marketplace — identifying stories, building narratives, and securing meaningful coverage in technology trade, business, and AI/cloud media
•Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key technology and business reporters, editors, podcasters, and influencers who cover cloud, AI, enterprise software, and the partner/platform network
•Serve as a skilled storyteller and writer — authoring press releases, media pitches, bylines, talking points, Q&A documents, and thought leadership content that translates technical depth into clear, compelling narratives
•Partner directly with partner marketing and executive communications teams to develop news moments, launch strategies, and thought leadership programs that elevate both the partner and AWS
•Shape and execute Marketplace-specific communications programs — driving awareness of AWS Marketplace capabilities, customer and partner success stories, and strategic differentiators
