Role Summary
The Life Sciences Portfolio Insights Analyst supports the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub by transforming portfolio data, assessment outputs, and cross-functional inputs into actionable insights for leadership and account teams. Title: Life Sciences Portfolio Insights Analyst
The Life Sciences Portfolio Insights Analyst supports the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub in transforming portfolio data, assessment outputs, and cross-functional inputs into actionable insights for leadership and account teams. This role serves as a key operational and analytical partner across the Acceleration Hub dashboard, data source discovery, reporting, content distribution, and assessment agent capabilities.
The role will work closely with the Assessment Insights & Operations Manager, cross-functional stakeholders, technology and systems owners, and the GDC team to ensure portfolio insights are supported by reliable data, effectively communicated, and continuously improved.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple data sources and stakeholder groups. They should be able to translate data and operational information into clear insights and communications, manage multiple work streams, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the quality and usefulness of portfolio intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Support
- Manage the feedback intake process for the Life Science Acceleration Hub dashboard, collecting and organizing input from key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with the Assessment Insights & Operations Manager to assess, prioritize, and maintain the dashboard enhancement backlog and support development release cycles.
- Support the collection, validation, and organization of data inputs required to maintain and enhance dashboard insights.
- Identify gaps in available data and work with stakeholders to determine potential sources or solutions.
- Help ensure dashboard outputs remain relevant, actionable, and aligned to stakeholder needs.
Data Source Discovery & Integration
- Research and identify additional internal data sources that could enrich portfolio assessments and scoring, including CRM fields, support case data, adoption and usage data, and other Salesforce platforms and systems.
- Evaluate potential data sources for relevance, accessibility, quality, and potential value to the Acceleration Hub.
- Coordinate with IT, systems, and data owners to request and establish appropriate access and permissions.
- Maintain documentation of identified data sources, ownership, access requirements, and intended use.
- Support ongoing efforts to improve the breadth, quality, and reliability of data available for portfolio insights.
Reporting & Insights Support
- Build and maintain standardized slide and reporting templates for portfolio insights readouts, leadership updates, and recurring communications.
- Populate reports and presentations using data and insights generated through the Acceleration Hub dashboard and related sources.
- Support the development of weekly red-account reporting by consolidating information from the red-account dashboard, program health assessments, and other relevant data sources.
- Identify trends, gaps, and notable changes in portfolio data to support insights and leadership discussions.
- Ensure recurring reports are accurate, timely, consistent, and actionable.
Content Distribution & Insights Communications
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for distributing portfolio insights across key communication channels, including Slack, email, newsletters, live events, meetings, and dashboard integrations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure insights and relevant portfolio intelligence reach the appropriate audiences at the right time.
- Gather, organize, and maintain source materials supporting case studies, success stories, and examples of portfolio impact.
- Partner with the Assessment Insights & Operations Manager to identify opportunities to translate data and assessment outputs into compelling stories and actionable communications.
- Support consistent messaging and distribution of insights across the Life Science Acceleration Hub ecosystem.
Assessment Agent Support
- Organize, structure, and label data feed inputs used by the Health Assessment agent.
- Support the ongoing preparation, validation, and organization of inputs required for assessment agent testing and release cycles.
- Partner with the GDC team to maintain documentation for the assessment agent, including data inputs, processes, and testing requirements.
- Coordinate preparation of materials and inputs needed to support agent testing, validation, and releases.
- Identify data or documentation gaps that could affect assessment quality or agent performance and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Build strong working relationships across the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub, Assessment Insights & Operations, GDC, IT, systems owners, and other cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify operational gaps, dependencies, and opportunities to improve the portfolio insights process.
- Maintain clear documentation, processes, and operating rhythms across assigned work streams.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to data quality and stakeholder needs.
- Support continuous improvement of the Acceleration Hub's portfolio intelligence capabilities.
Qualifications
