Role Summary
The Senior Treasury Analyst will join Amazon’s Treasury Strategy and Markets team, which oversees the company’s capital structure and relationships with lenders, shareholders, rating agencies, and banking partners. This role is well-suited for someone who demonstrates Dive Deep, Bias for Action, and Ownership leadership principles and is looking to grow into increasing levels of responsibility across Treasury.
Key job responsibilities
• Own cross-functional reporting deliverables and provide insights for senior leaders based on data; deliver clear and concise summaries of data analysis.
• Create and automate Excel financial models and new reports for strategic initiatives, supporting liquidity planning, financing, and return of capital analyses.
• Assist with financing initiatives including bond issuance, revolving credit facility, and term loan processes.
• Prepare materials for executive-level reviews of free cash flow, liquidity, funding needs, and rating agency considerations.
• Collaborate across Treasury teams and cross-functionally on reporting deliverables and analyses.
• Support relationships with rating agencies and banking partners by preparing materials, tracking deliverables, and coordinating meetings.
• Produce high-quality reporting and analysis for senior leadership while supporting automation initiatives and process optimization to improve team efficiency.
• Prepare quarterly business review materials summarizing market environment, and trade activity.
• Support AI initiatives and development of AI personas across the Treasury Strategy and Markets team.
• Own financial planning and resource allocation across Treasury, partnering cross functionally to provide leadership with financial insights and strategic guidance on resource allocation decisions.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
