Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis across NA Grocery Fulfillment Operations (Fresh, Fusion, and Swift), serving as the primary FP&A partner to Operations finance and business teams, translating complex financial data into clear narratives and delivering actionable insights to leadership
- Serve as the primary FP&A partner to Grocery Fulfillment Operations finance and business teams, translating complex financial data into clear narratives that inform strategic decision-making
- Lead long-term financial planning processes including annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cross-banner financial visibility
- Design and implement scalable reporting solutions and automation frameworks, including Cognos mapping updates and standardized methodologies, to improve process efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Drive high-visibility financial analyses that feed into L10 reviews, Board of Directors presentations, and other senior leadership communications, influencing strategic direction through data-driven recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, Finance Technology, and BI teams to identify opportunities for financial systems improvements, technology innovation, and enhanced reporting capabilities
- Create and maintain performance measurement frameworks to track business progress against key initiatives, and lead ad-hoc analytical projects that support strategic decision-making across the Grocery Fulfillment network
A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing variance analyses and preparing a financial narrative for an upcoming leadership review. After a working session with business partners to align on assumptions behind a new initiative, you shift to refining a financial model that supports a strategic growth decision. In the afternoon, you collaborate with peers to design a new control process, then wrap up by mentoring a teammate on reporting best practices and reviewing data pipelines for accuracy.
About the team
Grocery Fulfillment FP&A is responsible for fulfillment operations spend across Amazon Grocery and Perishables programs. Our Finance teams partner closely with operations to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operational excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving long-term profitability for our portfolio of businesses. Our teams experiment, iterate quickly, learn, and scale rapidly, while maintaining a data-driven decision-making culture.
Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
