AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Amazon's Data Center Construction Manager (CM) delivers hyperscale data center projects from feasibility through commissioning handover — owning scope, schedule, and budget across new builds and capital upgrades in the Greater Seoul region. Amazon designs and procures its most advanced infrastructure in-house and builds data centers purpose-built for our own servers. As part of a dedicated, self-perform construction team, you will operate in a global environment with end-to-end ownership of the entire critical infrastructure chain: HV substations, fiber, generators, switchgear, UPS, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, and servers. This end-to-end ownership demands a CM who can synthesize complex MEP systems and the control systems that integrate them, hold general contractors (GCs) accountable to quality standards, and compress timelines without sacrificing safety or resilience. Once construction is complete, the CM transitions the facility to the commissioning team and supports integrated testing through to handover. You will work within a high-velocity, multi-disciplinary team — acting as both an individual project owner and a technical authority in your discipline.

Key job responsibilities
Deliver:
- Own full-lifecycle project delivery
- Manage scope, cost, schedule, and quality for concurrent new-build and capital projects
- Direct day-to-day contractor performance, quality, safety compliance, and change management on site — travel to project sites for audits, constructability reviews, and commissioning support as required
- Manage the RFI lifecycle and coordinate technical resolution with design engineers
- Manage contracts and commercial change: scope compliance, variations, EOTs, claims, and progress claims support (with QS/commercial/legal teams)
- Liaise with authorities and utility providers for permits and regulatory compliance
- Report project metrics, risks, and decisions to senior leadership with clarity and precision
Optimize:
- Identify and execute cost-reduction and schedule-compression opportunities across assigned projects
- Manage procurement lifecycle from tender to contract award in accordance with company procurement policy
- Develop scopes of work, equipment specifications, RFPs, and capital expenditure justifications
- Drive constructability reviews on electrical, mechanical, and architectural designs
Comply:
- Implement risk, issue, and change management processes to mitigate delivery risks
- Ensure project adherence to internal governance, quality assurance, regulatory, and security standards
- Ensure compliance with global EHS policies and high-risk activity standards
- Maintain project risk registers with mitigation plans and regular stakeholder reporting
Influence:
- Serve as the primary project-level point of contact for cross-functional teams (Engineering, Network, Security, Operations, Finance, Procurement) to drive alignment and decision-making
- Support and upskill on-site stakeholders, and partner with procurement to expand the vendor pool
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to increase facility resiliency and operational performance
