About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of field marketing, executive engagement, and the private equity world — one of Salesforce's most strategic growth segments. As Senior Growth Marketing Manager for the Private Equity & Startups Practice, you'll support with the end-to-end marketing strategy that brings together some of the world's most influential Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. You'll shape how they experience Salesforce — from intimate executive dinners to marquee global programs like our Private Equity Value Creation Days and Private Equity Dreamforce program — and you'll have the data and relationships to prove the impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Design and deliver a global calendar of Private Equity engagements, including annual Value Creation Days for Private Equity Operating Partners and portfolio company CxOs across multiple locations

  • Plan and execute targeted Private Equity and portfolio company campaigns - digital and in person - in close partnership with internal relationship managers and stakeholders

  • Activate Salesforce's global events for PE and portfolio audiences including our World Tours, Industrie initiatives and other

  • Support with the full lifecycle of our annual Dreamforce Private Equity program — from strategy through post-event follow-up

  • Manage PE event sponsorships, including vendor relationships, budget oversight, securing Salesforce Executive and customer speakers and attendee experience

  • Track and report on event KPIs, including registration, attendance, engagement, and marketing-generated and influenced pipeline

Digital Marketing

  • Own and maintain the Private Equity web presence, including content strategy, ongoing updates, and alignment with campaign priorities

  • Plan, produce, and host end-to-end webinars — from topic development and speaker coordination through promotion and post-event analysis

  • Execute the Private Equity social media content plan, including publishing and performance tracking

  • Analyze digital performance across web, social, and webinar channels and translate insights into actionable optimizations

  • Partner with demand generation and content teams to amplify campaigns across channels

Content & Customer Marketing

  • Partner with relationship managers to identify portfolio companies suitable for external customer stories

  • Coordinate Private Equity and portfolio company speakers and Salesforce thought leaders for key programs

  • Maintain brand and messaging consistency across all event and campaign touch points

Pipeline & Revenue Impact

  • Use internal data to identify and prioritize target PE firms, portfolio companies, and key personas for marketing engagement

  • Track and report marketing-influenced pipeline, ACV contribution, and program ROI

  • Own event budget tracking, forecasting, and invoice management

Team Leadership

  • As a senior member of the practice, mentor and provide guidance to junior marketers supporting the PE & Startups program

  • Act as a thought partner to leadership on program strategy, prioritization, and resourcing

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $143,400 - $216,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $172,200 - $236,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
