Join the AWS Science Recruiting team and help us identify and hire the world's most exceptional scientific and technical minds. We hire science talent spanning domains including Automated Reasoning, Formal Verification, Programming Languages, SAT/SMT Solving, and more.

You'll work across all Amazon businesses, advising hiring managers on hiring strategy while building relationships with technical leaders. The candidates you engage will influence decisions affecting billions of customers. Successful recruiters on this team will utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking methods against metrics while prioritizing meeting hiring targets.


Key job responsibilities
• Partner with hiring teams to build sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies. Manage stakeholder expectations through clear prioritization and data-driven hiring plans.
• Source and close, active and passive science candidates. Assess role fit and candidate motivation rather than sell the role.
• Advise business leaders on technical hiring strategy and deliver measurable results.
• Build sourcing models to generate targeted talent pools. Execute search strategies and calibrate job profiles with hiring managers.
• Design and implement recruiting processes that support long-range growth and align with Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results.
• Document hiring plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking.
• Screen, interview, and deliver candidate slates on consistent timelines aligned to position specifications.
• Own recruiting initiatives include interviewing best practices, internal talent leverage, and identification of top performers.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
