Principal Delivery Consultant, WWPS Professional Services

AWS Professional Services is looking for a Principal Delivery Consultant with hands-on cloud architecture and implementation experience, strong AWS knowledge, and the ability to work directly with customers to turn complex requirements into production-ready solutions. You'll lead implementations, advise on migration strategies, optimize performance, and manage risk across the project lifecycle.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:

Leading teams to design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

It is expected to work from the AWS Office Location listed (or customer sites) at least 1+ days in a week. This is not a remote position. You are expected to be in the office or with customers as needed.

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- 5+ years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role experience
- 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience
- 5+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience
- Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle experience
- Experience coordinating the production of multiple concurrent contract deliverables (CDRLs or equivalent) across teams who each own portions of the content — driving consistency, managing dependencies between documents, and ensuring deliverables tell a coherent story while requirements are still being refined and delivery is already underway

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
