Intel Corporation is one of the world's leading semiconductor and technology companies, driving innovation that shapes the future of computing, connectivity, and artificial intelligence. With a legacy of over 50 years of technological breakthroughs, Intel empowers engineers, developers, and innovators to build solutions that change the world. At Intel, we believe in the power of diversity, collaboration, and continuous learning — and we're always looking for the next generation of talent to help us push boundaries.

Are you a graduate student passionate about software development and eager to work on cutting-edge technology? Intel is seeking a motivated and curious Graduate Software Engineering Intern to join our System Software team in Arizona. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of system software across multiple layers of the software stack — including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and middleware — helping to enable Intel's next-generation platforms and technologies.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree program and be eligible to complete a 3-to-6-month internship, with an anticipated graduation date on or before December 2027.

This is a hands-on internship where you will collaborate with world-class engineers, apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore exciting career pathways within one of the most influential technology companies on the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and validation of system software across one or more layers of the software stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware.

  • Engage in cross-stack software optimization to improve performance and efficiency across Intel platforms and technologies.

  • Support reference platform development for specific domains and market segments.

  • Develop software solutions using Object-Oriented Programming principles, leveraging technologies such as C#/WPF, ASP.NET, or Java.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile/SCRUM development environment.

  • Apply and expand your knowledge of the .NET stack through hands-on project work.

  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions to continuously grow your skills and contribute meaningfully to team goals.

  • Explore and identify future career opportunities within Intel through active engagement and project delivery.

As a Successful Candidate, You Will Bring:

  • A curious and eager learner who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • An effective communicator who can articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A collaborative team player who values diverse perspectives and works well in cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptable and resilient, able to navigate ambiguity and pivot when challenges arise.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative to solve problems and drive results without constant direction.

  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous personal and professional growth.

Apply today and take the first step toward an exciting career with one of the world's most innovative companies. Visit jobs.intel.com to submit your application. We can't wait to meet you!
