About the role
Original posting provided by amazon
In this role, you'll manage end-to-end process improvement initiatives across Amazon's import operations, partnering with internal teams and external logistics providers to deliver measurable results. You'll apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, analyze data to uncover opportunities, and brief senior leaders on program performance. Every improvement you deliver feeds directly into Amazon's flywheel. Lower costs mean lower prices, which drives more traffic, attracts more sellers, expands selection, and further improves the customer experience.
This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on global operations at a scale few companies can offer.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional process improvement programs across Amazon's global import operations, from scoping and planning through execution and post-launch measurement
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to identify cost and speed optimization opportunities, translating data-driven insights into scalable solutions across multiple operational sites
- Partner with operations, technology, and finance teams as well as external logistics providers to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive measurable improvements in supply chain performance
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and program status reporting, communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership through written narratives and business reviews
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment to support new building launches, network changes, and operational enhancements that improve the end-to-end customer experience
- Role requires some onsite warehouse monitoring with up to 25% travel across the US.
A day in the life
You'll start your morning reviewing operational metrics and identifying improvement opportunities. Midday, you might facilitate a Kaizen event with cross-functional partners or build a business case to present to leadership. Afternoons could involve analyzing data in SQL to quantify process changes, aligning stakeholders on program milestones, or partnering with technology teams on automation solutions. No two days look the same, but each one moves Amazon's global logistics network closer to faster, lower-cost delivery for customers worldwide.
Our team has a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and partner with you to find your next opportunity at Amazon.
About the team

We are a data-driven, collaborative team that values operational curiosity, creative problem-solving, and delivering measurable results at global scale.
