Description
Apple is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Pricing Analyst to join the Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) Finance & Business Management team. This role involves pricing analysis, reporting, recommendation and implementation for all hardware products as well as certain software and services offered by Apple across all our markets. We are looking for a high-caliber individual with strong analytical capabilities, superior financial / quantitative horsepower, and a deep interest in Apple’s products, business and strategy. You will partner with various groups including business management and product marketing finance teams. You will also handle extremely confidential information and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure.
Responsibilities
Formulate, present and implement pricing proposals for various products and services taking into account: volume and margin interdependencies, local market conditions, channel economics, consumer offers, regulatory and taxation environments, foreign exchange, and local manufacturing
Collaborate closely with various teams inside and outside WWPM (e.g., local Sales and Marketing, Sales Finance, Retail, Tax Staff, Treasury) to provide comprehensive pricing analyses and recommendations Integrate various datasets to create, present, and defend analyses, including scenarios, and other business insights to senior leadership
Work closely with Pricing Operations to ensure precise and secure implementation of all required pricing actions Create and maintain a robust pricing analysis and reporting infrastructure to provide insights to WWPM and Apple Leadership Be an active participant in the WWPM Finance and Business Management team and handle special projects and requests
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 3-7 years of experience with quantitative and financial analysis, ideally in a product context space
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or other quantitative field MBA; concentration in Finance preferred
Strong business insight, high intellectual curiosity
Able to work comfortably with incomplete information and dealing with ambiguity
Robust understanding of how macroeconomic activities, trade policies, and political events drive foreign exchange markets; knowledge of taxation policies a plus
Highly motivated, works well under pressure, organized, and enthusiastic in leading projects from end-to-end
Stellar verbal and written business communication skills
Sharp attention to detail yet understand the big picture
Excellent skills in financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Tableau, R, Python, Alteryx, SQL, Business Objects a plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,900 and $172,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
