In this role, you'll develop automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components to directly impact the performance and quality of devices used by millions of customers worldwide. The work demands creative problem-solving at the intersection of robotics and consumer electronics testing.

Description

As part of a diverse team, you will design, build, and scale robotic automation solutions to test Apple products, ensuring their outstanding quality before they reach customers!

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy robotic and mechatronic system testing solutions as the owner of one or more technology areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the most effective and impactful ways to test and solve short and long-term problems
Analyze data and results, and report the impact of all system issues found, advocating for the customer and contributing to the highest quality at all levels of the product

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelorʼs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in creating and using robotics and/or mechatronic systems (e.g. microcontrollers, sensors, actuators) to build automated solutions

Pay & Benefits — Cupertino, California, United States

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
