You will run work tickets, complete preventive maintenance, and support moves, events, and vendor work across an assigned area of the campus. - Respond to work tickets for leaks, HVAC issues, electrical problems, and general break/fix; complete preventive maintenance on assigned assets.
- Aid janitorial and site staff with general support, including moving furniture and equipment, disposing of construction waste, and set-up and tear-down of special event areas.
- Support campus-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned by facilities leadership.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed.
- Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets in the site work-order system.
- Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with carpentry maintenance, including drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet/countertop replacement, painting/texturing (interior and exterior), and door/hardware installation.
- Ability to read instructions and basic floor plans or blueprints.
- Experience with work-order or project tracking software, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Self-motivated; works well with others and autonomously.
- Safety training and use of forklifts, scissor lifts, and fall protection equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Based at the Memphis, TN campus.
- Able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted.
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
- Able to work at elevated heights, including the use of ladders and lifts for building and roof work.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and non-standard schedules as required.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as assigned for building emergencies.
