The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a senior Power BI developer with strong expertise in either data visualization or data modeling — or a hybrid of both — to help build scalable, insight-driven BI solutions that drive business decisions. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of dashboard design and storytelling, data modeling best practices, or both, as well as a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable reporting. Experience with DAX, data model architecture, visualization design, or user experience are all valued, and the ideal candidate brings the depth to excel in at least one of these disciplines. Above all, we are looking for skilled collaborators who can bridge stakeholder needs with data capabilities to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and data models in Power BI that drive business decisions across the organization.
Apply visualization best practices, design standards, and/or data modeling principles to ensure high-quality, scalable, and consistent BI solutions.
Develop and maintain semantic layer components including calculated measures, DAX logic, table relationships, and data model architecture as needed.
Create clear, actionable visual stories that resonate with diverse stakeholder audiences, from executives to analysts.
Collaborate closely with visualization and data modeling teammates to align on semantic layer requirements, report performance, and end-to-end solution quality.
Troubleshoot issues across the BI stack, including visualization performance, data model inefficiencies, user adoption challenges, and report accuracy concerns.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Stay current with Power BI updates, industry trends, and emerging techniques in both visualization and data modeling to continuously improve deliverables.
