Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to a Group Product Manager.
You will:
- Define and execute the product roadmap for Fleet Operations tooling to enable Waymo operations and Waymo fleet partners to operate markets efficiently and seamlessly
- Collaborate with Operations, other Product managers, UX designers, UX researchers to uncover operational pain points and turn them into UX tools that delight operational customers; in US domestic and international markets
- Deeply understand real time metrics and monitoring systems that can empower market leaders to run the business efficiently and bring those insights to fleet tools
You have:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a focus on automating large scale operations
- A BS degree in in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Track record of excellent stakeholder management to bring disparate parts of an organization together to a unified vision and rapid execution
- Structured thinker with clear written and verbal communication skills
We prefer:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Prior product experience in autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles or fleet management
Travel:
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (2-3x per quarter)
- Ability to travel internationally ~2x per year
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
