Role Summary
The Electrical Engineer will join the Leo Inter-Satellite Link Avionics team for Amazon LEO, a satellite constellation initiative focused on expanding broadband access globally. The role designs and supports electrical functions across spacecraft interfaces, including sensor signal conditioning, actuator control, and monitoring and control.

The Electrical Engineer will be a member of the Leo Inter-Satellite Link Avionics team, focusing on the design of the various electrical functions including analog sensor signal conditioning and processing, analog actuator control, and overall monitoring and control across spacecraft interfaces.

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to lead a variety of tasks, from board design and component selection, to layout review and board bring-up and test. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality and innovative designs, while also supporting other Leo colleagues with reviewing and improving board and other electrical designs.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience- Experience with prototyping and implementation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
