Microsoft Elevate is Microsoft's dedicated organization for advancing Education, Nonprofit, Workforce Development, and AI-for-Good outcomes globally. We bring together commercial expertise, technology innovation, partner ecosystems, skilling programs, policy engagement, and philanthropy to help organizations and communities accelerate impact in an AI-powered world. Through our people-first approach, Elevate works to ensure technology creates inclusive economic opportunity- ensuring that artificial intelligence enhances human potential rather than replacing it.
Microsoft Elevate is seeking a Senior AI Workforce Specialist to lead AI Business Solutions growth across the Korean Education market. In this Specialist Team Unit (STU) role, you will help Korea's education institutions -- the Ministry of Education and national education agencies, Metropolitan and Provincial Offices of Education, schools, and universities; reimagine teaching, learning, research, and administration with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio and agents, secure productivity, and cloud and AI endpoints.
You will act as a trusted business advisor to education leaders, translating national and institutional priorities for AI-enabled education into clear outcomes, compelling business cases, and secure, responsible adoption plans. Working closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Korean education partners, you will build and close pipeline, drive usage and renewals, and expand Microsoft's impact for students, educators, and staff. The ideal candidate combines consultative, value-based selling with a deep understanding of Korea's education landscape, strong Copilot and AI Workforce solution knowledge, and the ability to orchestrate a v-team across Microsoft, customers, and the partner ecosystem.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI Workforce business across an assigned portfolio of Korean education customers, accelerating AI share capture with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Studio and agents.
- Lead the AI Workforce solution plays -- Copilot and Agents at Work, Secure AI Productivity (Microsoft 365 A5-class security and compliance, staff and frontline scenarios), and Scale with Cloud and AI Endpoints (Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows devices for schools) -- tailored to education use cases.
- Act as a business expert to education leaders and decision makers (Superintendents and Offices of Education, university Presidents, CIOs/CDOs, academic and administrative leaders), running discovery, envisioning, and value conversations that connect AI to learning outcomes, educator workload, student success, research productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Build and present compelling business cases and adoption plans aligned to national digital-education and AI-in-education priorities, institutional budgets, and public procurement cycles in Korea.
- Champion secure and responsible AI adoption, helping customers meet requirements for student and staff data protection, including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), the AI Basic Act, and public-sector cloud security expectations (e.g. CSAP), together with Microsoft's Responsible AI principles.
- Drive core business momentum by generating new pipeline, protecting and growing the installed base, and improving usage and renewal of Microsoft 365 Education, Copilot, and endpoint solutions through Usage Excellence.
- Deliver sales execution rigour: accurate forecasting, disciplined pipeline and milestone management in MSX, and acting on digital signals, trials, and solution accelerators to drive urgency at scale.
- Orchestrate a cross-functional v-team spanning ATU Account Executives, AI Business Solutions Solution Engineers, Customer Success (CSU), Microsoft Elevate skilling and programs, and marketing to accelerate customer time-to-value.
- Co-sell with Korean education partners, LSPs/CSPs, and ISVs to scale reach across institutions, land pilots and proofs of value, and convert them into broad deployments.
- Leverage Microsoft Elevate educator and student AI skilling programs to build the AI fluency and readiness that underpin sustainable Copilot adoption.

- Native-level fluency in Korean and professional business proficiency in English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to, or working within, the Korean education sector -- Ministry of Education and affiliated agencies, Offices of Education, K-12 schools, or universities; including familiarity with public procurement processes.
