Microsoft Partner Center and Marketplace sit at the center of how partners build, sell, purchase, and manage Microsoft and partner solutions. As AI reshapes partner operations and commercial decision-making, we have an opportunity to transform how partners understand their performance, manage their earnings, and identify opportunities for growth.
As the single-threaded product leader for the Channel Services and Commercial insights, you will define the product strategy, investment priorities, roadmap, and success measures across Partner Center and partner integrated experiences. You will simplify complex commercial journeys, establish trusted AI-powered experiences, and shape capabilities used across Microsoft's partner ecosystem.
You will own the product area from customer discovery and technical product definition through delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. This Principal-level individual contributor role combines strategic product leadership, technical depth, direct partner engagement, and broad organizational influence.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities

· Set the product direction, priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for partners monetization, customer association, financial incentives performance and commercial insights. Connect partner needs, Microsoft priorities, market signals, and technical opportunities into a clear product narrative.
· Translate ambiguous business problems into customer scenarios, product requirements, and investment decisions. Make informed trade-offs across partner value, business impact, technical complexity, platform scalability, reliability, and speed.
· Reimagine journeys spanning onboarding, eligibility, enrollment, order, financial performance, reconciliation, renewal, and support. Address fragmentation across user experiences, APIs, reports, notifications, and partner-integrated workflows.
AI and technical product leadership
· Identify and deliver trusted AI-assisted and agentic experiences that simplify complex work, surface actionable insights, and help partners make more informed decisions.
· Define product requirements for grounding, model quality, evaluation, privacy, security, reliability, latency, cost, user control, and transparency. Establish hypotheses, experimentation approaches, and feedback mechanisms for AI-powered capabilities.
· Translate complex commerce, financial, data, and partner scenarios into scalable platform requirements. Reason across architectures, APIs, data contracts, identity, permissions, telemetry, integrations, service boundaries, and operational dependencies.
· Partner with engineering, architecture, design, and data science to evaluate solution alternatives and ensure performance, availability, data quality, compliance, accessibility, privacy, security, and global scale.
Partner engagement, launch, and measurable impact
· Build trusted relationships with strategic partners and engage them throughout discovery, co-design, preview, launch, and production adoption. Use partner feedback, telemetry, research, and support signals to guide decisions
· Own product readiness from early validation through launch and ongoing experience health. Define positioning, value proposition, target users, launch criteria, adoption plans, documentation, support, telemetry, and operational requirements.
· Establish goals and leading and lagging indicators across adoption, active usage, orders, earnings performance, financials reconciliation, insight quality, partner satisfaction, support reduction, reliability, experience health, and attributable business impact.
Organizational leadership
· Create clarity and drive decisions across engineering, design, data science, finance, marketing, business planning, support, sales, and partner-facing organizations without relying on reporting authority.
· Communicate strategy, trade-offs, risks, performance, and investment recommendations to senior leaders. Develop persuasive product narratives, decision documents, roadmap presentations, and business reviews.
· Establish reusable mechanisms and operating practices that improve outcomes across teams. Mentor product managers and represent the product area in partner advisory forums, technical workshops, and executive engagements.
